Do you know the very first statement by an American President concerning the geo-political ambitions of Islam? I didn't. It was none other than the Father of Our Country George Washington who said, "Would to heaven we had a navy able to reform those enemies of mankind or to crush them into non-existence." (Washington, Writings, Vol. 28, p. 521, to Marquis de Lafayette, August 15, 1786.) How did we go from a president who clearly grasped the core reality of Islam, which core is that Muslims must subjugate, enslave, convert or slaughter all who are not Muslim, to these modern presidents and politicians who keep saying against all empirical evidence that "Islam is a peaceful religion"? The lie has been told so often, people will violently assert Islam's peaceful nature! A clear read of Islam in any point in history destroys this claim. It has been bloody and murderous from the very first years of its existence when its founder the false prophet Mohamed slaughtered more than 700 Jews and pagans, while "converting Arabia." (Richard A. Gabriel, a military historian and adjunct professor at the Royal Military College of Canada, has authored forty-one books. His latest is Muhammad: Islam's First Great General (Oklahoma University Press, 2007).
In American history, the only generations that have been spared attacks from Muslims are those generations who enjoyed a nation so strong, Islam was frightened to touch it. So here's a short history.
From the moment we declared our Independence, even before we were actually free, and all through the years of our War of Independence Muslims attacked us at every turn. They declared war on us, when quite frankly our Founding Fathers were nearly ignorant of who Muslims were and what their geo-political mandate was according to their holy book. After years of Muslims attacking our ships making it almost impossible for our young and weak nation to conduct necessary business in the world George Washington made his statement quoted above. "Would to heaven we had a navy . . . " Why didn't we have a Navy? Why didn't we have an army? The reason was our founding fathers didn't provide for it in our Constitution. In Europe armies were the police power of the tyrants. Our ancestors fought to escape tyranny and armies seemed irksome to them. The only provision for national defence envisioned by the signers of the Constitution was "a well armed (citizen) militia" that could be called up to fight if or when someone attacked us. They did not think about our country being held for ransom by Muslims blockading our shipping and demanding that to merely exist in the world we owed them the Jizyah, a tax due to Muslims from all non-Muslims required by their holy book.
Our nation that was formed on the concept of freedom from tyranny was paying during the presidency of George Washington 16% of our Federal budget to Muslim tyrants! Did you know that? This was extortion money we had to pay to survive. No wonder Washington would say, "Would to heaven we had a navy . . ." This first war with Muslims lasted 37 years if you count the time before we were a nation, when we were paying the Jizyah. Faced with an "enemy abroad" not an army attacking us, but a Muslim Navy extorting us President John Adams raised a Navy, but for some inexplicable reason chose not to face down the Muslims. At the end of his administration we were paying 20% of the Federal budget to Muslim Tyrants. Did you know that? (The federal budget was $6,115,000 in 1795; a payment of nearly $1 million was given that year to Algiers alone, not including what was given to the other Barbary Powers. Prior to this, President Washington sent Benjamin Franklin, John Adams and Thomas Jefferson as envoys to the Muslims to ask them why they had declared war on us, to reason with them according to the laws of common justice to see what their grievance was. (Thomas Jefferson, The Writings of Thomas Jefferson, Andrew A. Lipscomb & Albert Ellery Bergh, editors -Washington, D. C.: The Thomas Jefferson Memorial Association, 1903, Vol. V, p. 195, to William Carmichael, November 4, 1785.) The envoys were more than shocked to discover that the Muslims had no grievance. We had done nothing to them and they quickly admitted this. That wasn't why they were warring against us. (And it is not why they are warring against us today.) The envoys listened in shock when the Tripoli Ambassador explained that attacking us was the Muslim's religious duty. They reported back to Washington saying, "The Ambassador answered us that it was founded on the laws of their prophet (Mohammed) that it was written in their Koran that all nations who should not have acknowledged their authority were sinners; that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found and to make slaves of all they could take as prisoners; and that every musselman [muslim] who should be slain in battle was sure to go to paradise." It is important to note that nothing in Muslim theology or belief has changed since then. Every Muslim, every secularist, every politically correct politician, every Christian pacifist, and every syncretistic apologist who says, "Islam is a peaceful religion" is a liar, and is proved a liar by history old and contemporary and by the words of thousands of Muslim teachers the world over calling for Jihad and the destruction of Western Civilization. George Washington understood, but the other political powers of the day did not. Washington quickly jettisoned his idea of the "well armed citizens militia" and stated, "To be prepared for war is one of the most effective means of preserving peace."
In the 20th century those wise words helped us destroy the old Soviet Communist System that had declared quite vocally in the 1950s that it would destroy us. President Ronald Reagan, recalling George Washington's words spoke and acted forcefully to create what he called, "Peace through strength." And eight years later the Soviet system began to fall apart.
But Ronald Reagan, American Hero that he is, did not understand the Threat of Muslims. The reality of that threat had been hidden in modern history as the Muslims joined (blended in with) both the NAZIS and the Communists to make war upon the west. (The Nazi/Muslim Alliance) In Reagan's mind the real threat was Soviet expansionism. We defeated the Muslims when we defeated Hitler. Few really noticed that. Reagan did not realize that hidden inside the Soviet expansionism was a strong element of Muslin ambitions that had only been strengthened in the years of the Cold War. London England) (Why Angels Fall - A Journey Through Orthodox Europe from Byzantium to Kosovo, Victoria Clark, St Martin's Press, New York) If Ronald Reagan had grasped the true threat of Muslims and understood the reality of their geo-political mandate, he would never have retreated from Lebanon when Muslims attacked and killed 220 Marines, 18 Navy Seamen, and 3 Army soldiers and injured another 60 Americans. In addition 58 French paratroopers, our Allies were killed moments later. Reagan's retreat from Lebanon was in my opinion the greatest strategic blunder of the twentieth century, one for which we are still paying a huge price.
What made Reagan's retreat so much more damaging than it would have been as a single isolated incident, is that it followed only a few years behind President Jimmy Carter's first inaction, and then failure. During Carter's presidency Muslims stormed the American Embassy in Teheran, taking 52 hostages and holding them from November of 1979 till January 1981 the day Reagan was elected. In the meantime Carter sent in a team of elite Navy Seals to rescue the hostages, and the effort failed in a public and embarrassing manor. (Low point for us, Low point for the Seals) But, the Muslim feared Ronald Reagan initially, knowing that he represented a strength in the American spirit capable of stopping Muslim strategic advances. But they had to test him and when they did, he failed. He retreated leaving the impression upon a generation of Muslims that America was a "paper tiger, hit her and she runs." Back to the first Muslim/American War, Thomas Jefferson took a stand, we stopped paying the Jizyah and declared war upon two Muslim countries and just as in modern times, he took the war to them. He held Tripoli siege and killed as many Muslims as it took to make them stand down. The first marines were on the ground there for five years ending in 1805.
In 1806 the first Koran was printed and published in the U.S. so the people could understand the need for warring against Muslims. It wasn't printed in homage to Islam, or to have the material to "appreciate one of the world's great religions" as is always the false story told today. No, rather it was printed so Mohamed's teachings could be viewed in all their lunacy. Prior to that, early Americans who were for the most part various Protestant sects, could not wrap their minds around the idea that there was a "religious book" (which to them would be a good thing) that was at its core evil. They could not believe that there could be a religion that demanded "conversion by force" and if that failed, slaughter of the non-believer! Frankly they had a difficult time believing the book was real, and even if it was real that such ignorance and hate filled teaching could have so many devotees. Here is why that first Koran was printed and published in America, as it clearly stated in the introduction. "You will wonder that such absurdities have infected such a part of the world. Further reading this book will render that law contemptible."

How did we get from the clear-eyed understanding that the Koran's contents were absurd and contemptible, to the lunacy of calling it "The Holy Qur'an" and treating its fabrications and hatred as qualitatively equal to Truth and as valid as our own Judeo/Christian Faith?

Important note about the Koran.
Aside from its mandate of war and slavery, the history held in the Koran is a direct assault on (1) Jewish History, contained in the Old Testament, (2) Christian History, contained in the New Testament and (3) Ancient History as held by modern scholars of History and Archaeology. Koranic history is a total fabrication, making of both Judaism and Christianity malformed attempts to create Islam. This is no small thing because it is by this fabrication of history that the Koran builds its case for the inferiority of Judaism and its people, and Christianity and its people. Since the Koranic history written millennia after the Torah (Old Testament) is a fabrication, the premise that Islam, Christianity and Judaism are somehow kin by having their origins in the Faith of Abraham is impossible; an absurd lie. The Abraham of history and his faith hold nothing in common with the fictional character created by Mohamed; and Abrahamic Faith holds nothing in common with Mohamed's death cult. So every time a theologian or politician states or intimates that the Christians, Jews and Muslims worship the same God, or hold any "Faith" in common, or are three corners of an Abrahamic Tradition, know that that simply is NOT true. The God Al'Allah was the name of the Moon god, worshipped in the Kabah, in Mecca, where still today Muslims in the millions, circle her throne each year.
After the Muslim's were defeated at Tripoli, they bided their time until they thought that once again we were weak and that they could attack us without harm. This happened during the war of 1812. In 1815 President Madison sent the Navy and Marines to Algiers and they held siege for two years. The British and the Christians in the Balkans kept the Muslims busy for the last half of the 19th century through the time of World War One. At the end of that period Islam was decimated in the west, eastern Europe and even in the middle east. But cunningly they partner with the NAZIS, which didn't turn out well for them though they faired better than the NAZIS. They also partnered with Soviet Communist and we are back to the fall of the Soviet Regime and Ronald Reagan.

The body count does not include American Civilians and Service men and women, killed on foreign soil, by Muslims. If we added the number of Christian brothers and sisters killed in the same period by Muslims the number would be in the many millions.

Conclusion: In the larger picture the Muslims have been at war through open hostilities or covert operations for the period of their entire history. Nothing in their religious DNA has changed. The only possibility of peace with Muslims is as George Washington knew "Peace Through Strength". Knowing that, we have to admit that for the last forty years we have shown them too much weakness. At this point even our military might does not frighten them because they are destroying us from within. They are attacking us today through open warfare, terror, infiltration, assassinations and of all the absurdities, through "LAW-fare" which their writers write about openly. "Law-fare" is using our own laws and legal system against us. It is time we realize and state clearly that hatred of our constitutional form of government and preaching our destruction from the pulpits of mosques across our country is not an act of "free speech" and "religious liberty" but an act of sedition.
